In our quest for excellence of product design and formulation—to bridge the gap between cosmetic elegance and aesthetics, and safe and effective drug functionality and effectiveness— AMAZA sought the services of world-renowned cosmetic scientist Dr. Ronald M. DiSalvo. During his more than thirty-year carrier as a research scientist and product formulator, Dr. DiSalvo has been responsible for innumerable state-of-the-art products, both in the high-end anti-aging skin treatment and the OTC drug categories.

To illustrate his diversity of product development skills, this year alone witnessed different products designed and developed by Dr. DiSalvo achieve the status of not only the first of their kind time-release anti-acne active treatment system as well as highest volume selling anti-acne treatment products in the United States during 20051, and advanced patent pending make up foundations used and preferred by Hollywood stars2,3, that were this year’s official make up for participants in both Hollywood’s prestigious Golden Globe and Academy Award ceremonies4.

Dr. DiSalvo, who is science advisor, technical consultant and chief product development formulator for a diversified group of specialty—as well as major—product marketers headquartered in Europe, South America and Asia, as well as the United States, and who sits on the medical advisory boards of two specialty ingredient manufacturers, and three technical journals, became so enthused over the products he co-founded AMAZA international and as it’s chief science officer. In this capacity, Dr. DiSalvo brings his many years of priceless insight and wisdom—which, by-in-large, was formerly directed toward, and somewhat limited to, the prestige and OTC drug categories—to the fore in advancing AMAZA product technology for the benefit of any and all who would have need of highly active, dramatically effective, state-of-the-art products at most affordable prices.
